Hollands Vineyard Pinot Noir
Joining forces with Richard Kelley MW and Dreyfus Ashby for our first collaboration, we have created something distinctive for the UK: a one-off Pinot Noir release available exclusively through the Dreyfus Ashby portfolio. Richard Kelley MW first met Sarah when she was Assistant Restaurant Manager at the Michelin-starred Roots restaurant in York and has followed her progression through the wine world with interest ever since.
The wine was produced from Pinot Noir grown by Matt Cooper at Hollands Vineyard in Essex’s Crouch Valley. Aged in two third-fill Cavin barriques sourced from a producer in Vosne-Romanée, Burgundy. It is a vibrant, complex and elegant expression of Essex Pinot Noir. Black cherry and floral aromatics are complemented by subtle spice, fine tannins and a poised, persistent finish. Only 550 bottles were produced. The label illustration brings together our identities through its central motifs: the rose and the bear.
